We were commissioned to develop a personal and professional website for a dedicated gynaecologist, clearly presenting all the services offered by the practice and highlighting terms such as prenatal care, telemedicine and gynaecology. The aim was to strengthen the online presence, simplify contact with patients and make the content emotionally appealing – with a clear structure to inspire trust and provide a good overview.
Just a few weeks after going live, the new website became the most important point of contact for patients. Although the site is still barely ranked, the first bookings have already been made via the integrated appointment tool – a clear sign of the improved user guidance. The website now exudes both professionalism and warmth, which strengthens the trust of new patients. In terms of content, it is now also geared towards growth – the clear structure, technical basis and targeted SEO optimisation have created the ideal foundation for a strong Google ranking. The new web design provides orientation and clearly and comprehensively highlights the medical services on offer – exactly as modern patients want it.
The gynaecologist's previous website was outdated. Important features such as online appointment booking were missing, the design seemed distant and did not offer a clear introduction to the medical services. There were also numerous weaknesses from an SEO perspective: the site was difficult to find and the content was not search engine friendly. In addition, patients did not feel welcomed – there was no clear structure and no warm, empathetic design. Our goal was to address precisely these issues.
Together with the doctor, we analysed the most important topics and developed a structure that conveys both medical expertise and personal proximity. Initial visual concepts were created in Figma, which were then developed step by step and refined. The website was implemented in the no-code tool Webstudio and connected to the headless CMS Directus, which will allow content to be updated easily and flexibly in the future. A straightforward solution for online appointment booking was integrated via Microsoft Bookings. Special attention was paid to the presentation of the individual service areas – each service, such as pregnancy care, preventive care or taping, was given its own structured landing page with SEO-relevant content. The entire design was optimised for mobile, tablet and desktop.
